JD Davidson - Owner of Status Salon

So many of us, perhaps now more than ever, rely on the strong women in our life. I wanted to create this series to celebrate some of the brilliant, badass businesswomen who I've had the pleasure of working with over the years and support them in growing their businesses!

I had the pleasure of meeting JD while planning my wedding in 2015. She was my Rockstar makeup and hairstylist…and through the process became a dear friend. I enjoy working with her so much and I still drive an hour each way to go see her, she is that good!

Through JD, I have also had the opportunity to work on collaborative photoshoots with other Artists and Business Owners in the Bay Area Wedding Industry. I truly admire how she has continued to grow her business while maintaining a personal touch that makes working with her so special. The fact that she's done this while raising three kids makes me admire her even more.

She was pregnant with her first son at my wedding and has since welcomed her second son and then her adorable baby girl just last year. JD now has several of my pieces and I love that she chose to wear them in her maternity shoots, how gorgeous is she?!

I celebrate this mama and all the creativity, beauty, and drive she brings to the world.
